What are the effects of far-infrared radiation?
In movies, Spider-Man gained his powers after being bitten by a spider, and the Hulk transformed after being exposed to gamma rays. What would happen if you were exposed to far-infrared rays? The answer is that you would become a healthier person!

What is Far-Infrared?
Far-infrared is an invisible electromagnetic wave, generally referring to light waves in the 15-1000µm (micrometer) region of the spectrum, within the infrared wavelength range. Far-infrared has a wide range of applications, from everyday items like toasters, remote controls, and far-infrared textiles, to medical and healthcare uses such as physical therapy, sprains, and muscle spasms. In medical science, far-infrared within the 4-14 micrometer range has been proven to resonate with human molecules.
Principle
The principle of far-infrared is very similar to hot compresses, but the difference is that due to the radiant properties of far-infrared, it provides healing effects without direct skin contact, making it especially suitable for people with open wounds or allergies to hot compress materials. There are three ways heat is transferred: conduction, convection, and radiation. Far-infrared lamps utilize the principle of heat transfer through radiation, transmitting heat via electromagnetic waves without needing a medium. Therefore, you can feel the heat even without being close to or touching the far-infrared lamp.
Far-infrared can also improve metabolic efficiency and promote blood circulation.

Benefits
1. Helps improve blood circulation
Far-infrared can penetrate 16mm into the subcutaneous tissue of the human body, raising the temperature of the deep subcutaneous skin, dilating capillaries, promoting blood circulation, reactivating enzymes, strengthening blood and cell tissue metabolism, and greatly contributing to cell rejuvenation.
2. Helps with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects
Far-infrared has permeability, which can enhance the microcirculation system inside and outside the body. With smooth circulation, heart contraction and the supply of nutrients and oxygen become more adequate, activating cells, improving tissue regeneration, and promoting cell growth, thus keeping the body in good condition. It controls the development of inflammation, localizes it, and accelerates body repair.
3. Helps with skincare and beauty
Far-infrared can resonate with the human body, helping to metabolize substances that cause fatigue and aging, such as lactic acid, free fatty acids, cholesterol, and excess subcutaneous fat, directly from the skin through the pores and activated subcutaneous fat, without going through the kidneys, contributing to smooth and tender skin.
4. Helps improve joint pain
Far-infrared has deep penetration that can reach muscles and joints. Therefore, it is often used in traditional Chinese medicine to warm the body, relax muscles, promote nutrient exchange in the body's microvessels, eliminate fatigue substances and problems like lactic acid aging, thereby reducing internal swelling and soothing soreness.
5. Helps regulate the autonomic nervous system
The autonomic nervous system primarily regulates visceral functions. If a person is in a long-term state of anxiety, the autonomic nervous system remains tense, leading to decreased immunity, headaches, dizziness, insomnia, fatigue, and cold limbs. Far-infrared can regulate the autonomic nervous system to maintain its optimal state, effectively improving and regulating the aforementioned symptoms.
Can far-infrared harm the human body?
The wavelength range of electromagnetic waves emitted by far-infrared is between 3-1000 micrometers. This is vastly different from the "radiation" generally known to cause carcinogenic damage, which has very high energy and causes ionizing damage to human cells and molecules. Furthermore, the known power of far-infrared bands is in the milliwatt or microwatt range, so there is no concern about excessive energy, and it will not cause any harm to the human body. Far-infrared utilizes the principle of coherent resonance to activate cells and produce natural therapeutic effects. This is different from injections or medications that introduce synthetic substances into the body, which can burden the body, and therefore it has no side effects.
